For our client, we are now seeking a highly motivated, organized and upbeat individual to join our client’s team as a Risk Manager

Responsibilities:
• Maintain awareness of the current risk management framework including gaps and propose solutions to improve risk management.
• Maintain awareness of industry changes including new techniques and risk management products as they become available.
• Create management weekly and monthly reports
• Liaise with other risk and external teams to understand the impact of the risk management framework on the overall business and provide reporting
• Analyze and understand risk business requirements and discuss them with management of the company 
• Act as project manager of the projects within the Risk Team
• Any other duties as required

Candidate requirements:
• Previous business analysis or project management experience
• Knowledge of the project management lifecycle
• Experience with financial fraud activities, specifically fraud risk management
• Experience with anti-money laundering controls and risk management
• In-depth knowledge of e-commerce
• Understanding of business models and revenue streams
• Ability to assess loss prevention against associated revenue costs
• Ability to develop tangible solutions to business problems, either through recommendations to improve processes, people or technology
• Knowledge of case management systems
• Experience in Financial industry, e-commerce experience is an asset
• Strong Team Player
• Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing business
• Excellent written and verbal skills

• University degree and relevant certifications are an asset
