A fast-growing international production and distribution company is expanding its team in Sofia. The business focuses on importing, processing, and distributing high-quality meat and food products across Europe. The company works with supermarket chains, e-commerce platforms, and B2B partners throughout Bulgaria and the EU.
Role Overview
We’re seeking an experienced and highly organized Import/Export Specialist to manage global sourcing, logistics, and distribution operations. The role is based full-time in the Sofia office and offers long-term growth potential for someone who wants to develop within international trade and supply chain management.
Key Responsibilities

Plan, source, and order products from international suppliers in line with company purchasing plans.

Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with suppliers across Europe, North and South America, Asia, and Australia.

Manage the full import/export cycle, including purchase orders, documentation, customs clearance, and delivery tracking.

Monitor inventory levels, forecast demand, and optimize stock turnover.

Coordinate with sales, finance, and warehouse teams to ensure product availability and smooth operations.

Track supply chain KPIs such as cost efficiency, lead times, and margins.

Ensure full compliance with EU import/export regulations, Intrastat reporting, and customs documentation.
Requirements

Minimum 2 years of experience in import/export, logistics, or supply chain (preferably in FMCG or manufacturing).

Solid understanding of international trade, Incoterms, and customs processes.

Proven ability to manage suppliers and negotiate favorable terms.

Fluent in English and Bulgarian; German is a strong advantage.

Skilled in Excel and ERP systems (experience with WooCommerce or similar tools is a plus).

Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
